conduct a short interview with the family/parent of a child with the exceptionality described above. Your interview questions will be based on the NYSED Parent Survey-Special Education and should focus on any challenges/adjustments the family has made to accommodate the exceptionality and the parents feelings towards the educational plan in place for their child. Make note of any difficulties attaining services and if best practices are being followed.
This paper should be written as a narrative summary, not a transcript of the interview. It should be approximately 3 pages double spaced using 12-point font. Please also be sure not to use any names in the paper to maintain the familys privacy. This paper will be worth 12.5% of your overall grade
