Choose one case discussed in Chapters 1, 2, 7, 8, or 9 (material from weeks 1-2). Your paper should be titled with the name of the case and its full citation, and the page on which it is found in the text. Identify the relevant facts of the case, the issues presented, and applicable law; then discuss the courts ruling and the main point that this case illustrates. Indicate whether you agree or disagree with the decision, and why. Cite your text and other sources/cases that support or contradict the courts decision. You must look up the full text of the case in our library’s LexisNexis Academic database. Identify key facts determinative to the courts decision and describe a fact pattern that might lead to a different outcome. This paper should be at least 800 words in length.
