CONTEXT In this unit, you have investigated various difficulties associated with the processes involved when moving out of home. After looking at these processes and the issues facing young adults at this independent season of life, you are required to conduct a conversation that may be encountered, after leaving school, so as to better prepare yourselves for future conversations/communication. TASK Individually, you are to choose practical elements of independent living such as: healthy meals and living healthy; cleaning and organising your clutter; washing, ironing and all those chores; shopping on a budget (what does $100 buy?); the cost of entertainment (including mobile phone costs, eating out, movies, coffee catch-ups).
