1. Explain the difference between probability and non-probability sampling, random vs. non-random sampling and sampling forqualitative vs. quantitative studies. 2. Suppose you were interested in doing a survey of nurses attitudes toward caring for AIDS patients. Would you use a personal interview, telephone interview or a questionnaire via mail or the Internet to collect the data? 3. A nurse researcher is planning to study temper tantrums displayed by hospitalized children. Would you recommend using a time sampling approach? Why or why not? 4. By now students should have determined the type of study they are proposing, qualitative or quantitative. Based upon your study type, discuss your sampling plan and include the justification for your plan. (My research study is about hospitals with a hospice base liaison facilitates getting hospice care for patient and receive higher quality end of life care than those who do not. Plan is to use quantitative study) So base on quantitative plan please discuss plan and justify.
