Create a concept map you could use to organize your own knowledge and help you design a K-3 science-themed unit that would meet FL NGSSS benchmarks. The concept map will serve as the background for the unit plan you complete later in the semester. A concept map should look like something similar to a web with a topic in the middle. You will first brainstorm different questions students may have about that topic and then create the concepts you will need to cover to hopefully answer those questions.
Select a topic area from the document:Human Body: SC.K.L.14.1, SC.1.L.14.1, SC.1.L.16.1 (humans only), SC.2.L.14.1 (Gr. K, 2)
Include linking words between concepts to make a proposition. A proposition links two concepts to make a simple sentence. Arrows show which way to read the proposition. Every pair of concepts must have linking words between them that show how they are related. Linking words are THE most important part of a concept map and what makes it a powerful tool. Include cross-links to show how terms in different places in the concept map connect to each other.

Include a separate sheet that has all the benchmarks you used for your concept map written out in words. The topic above is what I have choosen.
