Analyse the relationship between the environment, strategy and systems of reward management

Learning Outcomes: 1.Analyse the relationship between the environment, strategy and systems of reward management 3.Critically discuss traditional, contingent and knowledge bases for transactional and relational rewards. 4.Design internally consistent reward structures that recognise labour marker and equity constraints Assessment brief/activity In your organisation or one with which you are familiar, identify an area of employment where employees who do similar work are paid differently. Differences in pay for similar work arise for a number of reasons status, performance, age (over 25 and under 25), competency, experience, etc. For the purpose of this assessment, pay means all contractual terms under which a person was employed whether concerned with pay or not. It covers both transactional and relational rewards that are specific to the contract of employment. When you have chosen the area of employment for consideration produce a 3000 word written report that includes the following tasks (each task is equally weighted): 1.Justify your choice of area of employment in relation to environmental change and/or organisational strategy and compare and analyse the differences in pay between these employees within the area of employment (this should include data on all contractual rewards). 2.Considering your Reward Strategy and Equal Opportunities Policy, evaluate how the differences in pay between employees in the employment area can be defended taking into consideration HR processes and practices and legal compliance. In conclusion, outline and justify your defence for the difference in pay providing clear evidence to support your case. Where the differences in pay cannot be defended, explain the potential discrimination in pay and how it should be resolved. Your report should be cogent, articulate and focused, yet draw on as many sources of worthwhile and authoritative evidence that you can find. All such sources should be properly identified. All submissions should be in the region of 3,000 words plus or minus 10% and references should be added in the Harvard Referencing Format. There is a Harvard Referencing tutorial in the Resources Area which outlines the formatting required.

Discuss the contract requirements and derivative requirements for cybersecurity at Sifers-Grayson in 3 to 5 paragraphs under “Section 6 General Comments.”

1. Your final deliverable should be professionally formatted and should not exceed 10 pages. The goal is to be clear and concise in your reporting of your analysis of this incident. This report should reflect your learning and analysis. For that reason, the citation rules are relaxed and you may write from your own knowledge as an “expert.” BUT, if you paste exact phrases, sentences, or paragraphs from another document or resource, you must cite that source using an appropriate citation style (e.g. footnotes, end notes, in-text citations).2. You may include annotated diagrams if necessary to illustrate your analysis and/or make your point(s). You may use the figures in this assignment as the foundation for diagrams in your final report (no citations required).3. Use the NIST Incident Handling Process (see Table 1) to guide your incident analysis. You do not need to cite a source for this table.4. You may assume that the company has implemented one or more of the IT products that you recommended in your Case Studies for this course. You may also assume that the company is using the incident response guidance documents that you wrote for your labs and that the associated operating systems utilities are in use (e.g. you can assume that system backups are being made, etc.).5. DOCUMENT YOUR ASSUMPTIONS about people, processes, and technologies as if they were fact. But, don’t change any of the factual information provided in the incident report from the Red Team.6. Use the incident report form that appears at the end of this file. Copy it to a new MS Word document. Insert a title page at the beginning of your file and include the title of the report, your name, and the due date.7. After you perform your incident analysis, fill in the required information in the provided form (see the end of this file). Attach the file to your assignment folder entry, and submit it for grading as your final project.8. For section 1 of the form, use your own name but provide reasonable but fictitious information for the remaining fields.9. For section 2 of the form, assign IP addresses in the following ranges to any servers, workstations, or network connections that you need to discuss.a. R&D Center 10.10.120.0/24b. Test Range 10.10.128.0/24c. Corporate Headquarters 10.10.135.0/2410. For sections 2, 3, and 5, you should use and interpret information provided in this file (Overview, Background, Issues Summary). You may use a judicious amount of creativity, if necessary, to fill in any missing information.11. For section 4 of the form you may provide a fictitious cost estimate based upon $100 per hour for IT staff to perform “clean-up” activities. Reasonable estimates are probably in the range of 150 to 300 person hours. What’s important is that you document how you arrived at your cost estimate.12. Discuss the contract requirements and derivative requirements for cybersecurity at Sifers-Grayson in 3 to 5 paragraphs under “Section 6 General Comments.”

Criminals with mental illness and recidivism

Please see attachments for further details/instructions.Intro (written by me):“The U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ) found that more than half of all inmates, or over than 1 million individuals, have a mental illness compared to 11% of the general population; and yet only 1 of 3 prison inmates and 1 of 6 jail inmates receive any form of mental health treatment” (Hoke, 2015). Although not all criminals have a mental illness, those who do, often times are underdiagnosed, made worse during prison sentence, or illness goes untreated properly in the corrections systems. Mentally ill patients may have a difficult time navigating the criminal justice system and often times cannot assist in their defense, follow the rules in prison, or follow the rules of probation or parole when released. This research is highly important to address lack of education, increased homelessness, and substance abuse among offenders with mental illness. Eventually, this study will provide helpful resources to improve the justice system related to the mentally ill and highlight opportunities and programs that need to be provided to reduce the recidivism rates.

Develop a corresponding set of five (5) safety rules for the company’s safety program.Your written program should make it clear that safe work practices are expected of all employees, at all levels, and at all times. Use Chapter 12 as your primary guideline, but you may also include any safety subject from the previous lessons that would be important to a small construction company.Part B After completing your written program, contact a local, small construction company and speak to a person in a managerial position connected with safety concerns. Tell them about this project. Ask if they would consider looking at your written safety program and providing any feedback. When you submit the written program to the school, include a one-page addendum to your written program that:1. Briefly describes the construction company contact(s) you made and2. Includes a brief summary of the feedback you received. This writing assignment will give you a very real experience in developing a written safety program. The feedback you will get from a construction company professional will be invaluable. One further note: try to balance your safety program when it comes to details—too many, and you will quickly lose the interest and compliance of the employee, but too little detail may actually make the workplace unsafe for employees. Keep this in mind when you’re deciding what important elements to include in your safety program. This assignment must be a neat, professional presentation on this subject. Proper punctuation, spelling, and usage of grammar are imperative.

One very important concept in computer programming and problem-solving is modules. Why are modules so important in the programming process? What are some of the challenges a programmer might face when designing modules for a problem solution? When responding to your peers, critique their response and suggest additional challenges a programmer might face when designing modules.
