Consider the ways that humans impact the cycle of flow of your choice and how this impact challenges the health of humans and other life forms.
Reflect on what can be done to improve or mitigate our impact either individually or as a society.

Compose four paragraphs in which you describe two environmental groups that you examined and explain how each group addresses at least one of the environmental concerns or challenges that you find compelling. Please be sure to mention why you chose each group, what they are doing that you appreciate, and include a link to their website. You may also want to comment on solutions that you would advocate be adapted society wide or solutions that you and other individuals can incorporate into your life at home.

To prepare for this Discussion
Identify two organizations or groups that are addressing some of the environmental challenges that you find compelling or serious enough to warrant your attention. Choose at least one group that is addressing environmental challenges relevant to your local community. Alternatively you can focus your post on two groups that are causing environmental problems that you find compelling.
Reflect on how these dilemmas might be addressed, and what solutions you and other individuals can incorporate into your daily lives.

1. Identify a key important sociological question from your chosen topic above. Visit the library or electronic databases and do some research online. Collect relevant evidence and examples from recent studies. Your sociological arguments must be supported by numerous facts and documentation (with proper reference).

5. Write your essay introduction. Your introductory paragraph should be concise and focused. Write your body paragraphs. Use relevant data, specific examples and evidence to support the main points in each one. Make sure you include clear transitions between the paragraphs in your academic essay. Flower Powers New Network

You are the CEO of Flower Power, Inc., a fast growing chain of 100 florist shops based in the Southeastern United States. The company opened for business 5 years ago with just 20 employees and now has over 1500 employees.

The company is now in the process of installing a new computer network, which will, for the first time, link all of the companys offices and locations. The companys Chief Information Officer has approached you with a proposal to include a number of electronic surveillance features in the new network.

The proposed features include:

The ability of all MIS staff to view any employee emails at any time
The ability of all MIS staff to monitor what internet sites employees are viewing at any time
The ability of all MIS staff to shadow PCs of any employees, at any time, without the consent of those employees (shadowing allows a person, such as the MIS staff person, to monitor all a users activity on your PC from a remote location without the users knowledge)

In today’s fast-paced and global community, most organizations are faced with constant change. Research contemporary organizations that are currently responding to a significant change within the industry, such as disruptive technology; state, government, or industry regulations; environmental constraints; judicial or legislative rulings; etc.
Choose one organization from your research that has recently responded to major change, or is currently responding to change. Write a paper (1,250-1,500 words) discussing how well the organization is responding to the change dynamics. Include the following:

In about three to five pages (double spaced), write a descriptive essay on a topic of personal significance. You may use the assigned essays in the textbook as a starting point for your own introspection, retrospection or insight. For example, you might describe an experience in your life that is not only important for yourself, but also potentially meaningful for others. In other words, the best essays in this category present to the reader the authors understanding of an event or experience that may also teach the reader something valuable in life.

While a descriptive essay may share some aspects that are similar to the personal essay, it is also different in that this kind of essay emphasizes your power of observation and your attention to details. While a personal essay often records an authors memory of an event and emphasizes the dawning of an insight or epiphany, a descriptive essay demonstrates the process of an occurrence, or a step-by-step portrayal of it if you will. The bottom line is that if you have already written about a person in the first assignment, do something else in the second assignment, such as an event, and vice versa.

Describe an ethical dilemma that you experienced, or have witnessed in a change leader, when attempting to initiate change. How was the ethical dilemma resolved? What can a change leader use to guide decision making when faced with an ethical dilemma?
