This report contains 3 sections, A,B and C
Task A: Set the scene of the issue (explain how and why it is an issue)
– Where the issue occurs (the location, NYC)
– why this is an issue
– what areas are affected
– how many people are affected and in what manner
– what is the effect on the environment
Task B: Perspectives and values on the issue

– Pick 2 people or groups that have different views on the issue
– Explain fully the action that the chosen people or groups have taken i.e. what is the response to the issue! A response could be: setting up a protest movement, petitioning government etc
– Explain fully how the peoples or groups perspectives and values have led to their response
Task C: Solution to the issue
– explain a suggested suitable course of action to address the issue. Fully justify why this particular course of action is the most appropriate. – Your solution needs to be suitable (eg. doing nothing is not a solution)
– Your solution can be one action or a combination of actions
– You need to show that you have considered a variety of solutions (at least 2)
– You need to justify your choice by showing why (explaining) your choosen course of action is better than the alternative action.
– Your issue is complex, and your answer should reflect this complexity and show some deep thinking.
– What will work in the short term might not work in the long term.
– who is paying to fix the issue?
– how much will it cost?
– who will be affected by the solution? (both positvely and negatively)
– You need to show understanding of the issue by providing a full justification and show insight, use clarity of argument.
– You need to demonstrate your ability to analyse. This means: 1) taking lots of information and picking out the information that is useful to you. 2) refers to breaking down the topic into parts and being able to identify the connections and show how one component influences another etc

Social Facilitation Assignment
Social facilitation boils down to the notion that the presence of others effects behavior. Have you ever been in a group of people when one person pulls out their cell-phone and checks it, and suddenly half the group has pulled out their cell-phones? This is the natural art of social facilitation at work. If you ever thought sneezing was contagious, you probably witnessed social facilitation at work. In addition to just affecting one another through our behaviors, Social Facilitation Theory suggests that the mere or imagined presence of people in social situations creates an atmosphere of evaluation. The mere presence of other people will enhance the performance in speed and accuracy of well-practiced tasks, but will degrade the performance of less familiar tasks. The role of social facilitation is important to consider in social situations, because it implies that peoples performance does not rely solely on their abilities, but is also impacted by the internal awareness of being evaluated. Performance can be greatly affected by situation factors, thus making it possible to entirely alter the outcome of a situation. This can be very important when considering how anyone will perform under evaluation and how to potentially prepare for those situations.
The goal of this assignment is for you to experience the art of social facilitation.
First, I want you to try to socially facilitate some sort of behavior. This is the basics of social facilitation the mere presence of being around others effects behavior. There are some very simple things you can do to try to facilitate the behavior of others (I already gave the example of pulling out your cell-phone), for example, stand at a busy street corner and look-uphow many other people look up too?
You need to describe the situation, who, what, when, where
What behavior did you try to socially facilitate?
Did it work? Why do you think it did or didnt work?
Second, I want you to experience the atmosphere of evaluation created by social facilitation. Are you really good at something? Or are you really bad at something? I want you to engage in a behavior that you are good or bad at while in a group setting (for example, I am horrible at the sport of billiards; when there is a large group of people around watching I am even worse).
Describe the situation: who, what, when, where
What behavior are you going to engage in? Are you good or bad at it?
Do you think the group affected your behavior? Tell me why you think they did or did not affect your behavior.
Your answers should be submitted via Blackboard in APA format. This means Title Page, Abstract, Introduction + Body + Conclusion, References. Some students combine the two activities into one paper and other students write two separate papers. This assignment is not to be taken lightly, should not be bullet pointed answers Remember to introduce the concept of Social facilitation what is it, who coined the term, etc This will help you to begin your paper then you should describe the facility where you were at, etc This should also require you to have a reference at least for your textbook where you will get the definition for social facilitation..
Introduction
This is an individual project. Each student must complete a Case Study that provides the requirements analysis and a proposed solution for converged network solution. The target audience will be the organizations Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Case Study deliverable is an MS Word document.
The completed Case Study deliverable is due by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the due date shown in the Course Schedule. See the Additional Information section of the syllabus for the penalty for late or missed assignments and projects.
The Case Study is valued at 12% of the course grade.
Case Study
This project gives the student the opportunity to get hands-on experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). VPNs come in hardware and software varieties. There are a number of VPN apps that can be downloaded to your desktop and mobile device. One of these is called Tunnel Bear. Tunnel Bear has a free trial download. You are not required to use Tunnel Bear, but it is free.
Download Tunnel Bear (https://www.tunnelbear.com/) to your desktop/laptop AND mobile device (phone/tablet). Use Tunnel Bear for one week. Please keep in mind the free version is limited to 500 MB of data (so dont use Tunnel Bear to watch Netflix or you will run out of data before you finish the assignment)! The idea is to experience a VPN client on your desktop and mobile device and keep a log of the sites your visit while changing the VPN servers that you connect to around the world. Make sure you change your VPN servers to a minimum of ten countries. Visit a minimum of ten websites (minimum of five sites on your desktop/laptop and a minimum of five different sites on your mobile device). Keep a log and make notes of your experience. What works well with the Tunnel Bear VPN? What doesnt work so well. What specific performance impacts (if any) do you note. Why would you want to use a product like Tunnel Bear all the time?
The Deliverables
Your deliverable consists of your turned in VPN log and a two to four page write up of your observations and experiences. Please include the following questions in your writeup:
1. What VPN client did you use?
2. Did you have problems installing the client on either your desktop or mobile?
3. What was your general experience with the VPN client?
4. What specifically did you note about the VPN client when you connected to various VPN servers? Provide details.
5. What performance issues did you encounter (if any)?
6. Would you use a VPN client like Tunnel Bear all the time? If not, why not?
7. What are the perceived benefits of a VPN like Tunnel Bear.

We have learned that organizational change is a process rather than an event. It often starts with knowing what
to change, continues through how to change, and then concludes with when to change. Using these steps as a
foundation, present a three-to-five-page paper that addresses the following:
Research organizations in KSA that, in the past three years, have completed a major change to their
organization (e.g., merged with or acquired another firm, expanded operations, significantly reduced
staff, etc.).
Provide a brief summary of the organization and the reasons for the recent change.
Present the steps or process the organization followed, from the initiation of the change process to the
implementation of the change. Which of the several frameworks from the textbook did they use or do
you think they used to analyze organizational dynamics?
Discuss the stakeholders who were included in the process and indicate what their roles were.
Finally, discuss the key processes/strategies which were successful, the key processes/strategies which
were not successful, and advice or suggestions you would offer (based on what you have learned thus
far in this course) which may result in a more successful change initiative in the future. Which of the
several frameworks from the textbook would you suggest they use to analyze organizational dynamics?
Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements:
Be three-to-five pages in length, which does not include the title page and reference pages, which are
never a part of the content minimum requirements.
Use Saudi Electronic University academic writing standards and APA style guidelines.
Support your submission with course material concepts, principles, and theories from the textbook and
at least three scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles.
It is strongly encouraged that you submit all assignments into the Turnitin Originality Check prior to
submitting it to your instructor for grading. If you are unsure how to submit an assignment into the
Originality Check tool, review the Turnitin Originality Check Student Guide for step-by-step
instructions.
