Each essay test will have instructions for page length and expectations, but here you will be provided with basic expectations when writing essays for this class
1. The format will be in APA! This means typed, double spaced, Times New Roman font, font size 12, normal margins. Please dont try to fudge the margins, I will notice, I will be unhappy, I will dock a few points.
2. Please include headings for your essays. Example is below.
3. Make sure you answer ALL parts of the essay question within your essay! I highly recommend doing an outline of paper beforehand and making the parts of your essay your headings.
4. Use citations! I expect every essay to have a citation for the textbook and any other extra readings you use in your essay. This can include class discussion readings but I will want more. Each essay is required to have 4 sources! Make sure you have a Works Cited page and cite them within the essay as seen in the example below.

6. A good essay has an introduction and a conclusion.
