2) Some critics describe Adam Smith as a proponent of laissez-faire. First, do a little research: what exactly is laissez-faire? Tell me what you found out. Now you might either: contrast Smith with a more mainstream laissez-faire theorist; or, pick arguments from the readings and slides to bolster your argument that he is, or is not, laissez-faire. Of course, he could be somewhat laissez-faire you can make that argument if you wish. (Dont be worried about disagreeing with me!)
