Imagine that you have gained an internship in a UK central government department and you have been asked to prepare a 2000 word policy brief for a Minister on After Brexit should the UK permit the import and sale of chlorine washed-chicken? You should (a) identify the technical, political and regulatory issues at stake, taking due account of competing claims about your issue and the quality of the evidence for them; and (b) formulate some realistic policy options for the minister to consider in the light of the likely responses from the public, regulatees, industry, and other stakeholders. You should draw on secondary literature (e.g. books, articles, government reports, grey literature and internet) and should reference your work where necessary in havard style regulations, but as this is a policy briefing, there is no necessity to provide an extensive list of academic references. Since this is a cource on risk governance and risk analysis it would be good to insert as much theories and framawork about risk to this paper as much as possibleb
