Each of the 3 questions in this assignment is worth up to 5 points and the entire assignment is worth up to 15 points toward your final grade for the semester. The following criteria are used in assessing responses. The more the responses align with the following criterial the higher the grade for the response.
–The extent to which the response demonstrates a thorough understanding of the article and our course material.
–Whether the response contains a full discussion of the connection between the article and our course material or whether it misses connections between the two. Does the response show the way the article brings our course material to life?
–Whether the article includes specific references to our course material as a way of demonstrating the relationship between the article and our course work.
–The article is well-written and well organized.
–The extent to which the response provides a thorough response, as opposed to brief, conclusory answers.
–The extent to which the response presents new ways of thinking about the article or our course materials.
