1. We selected GARS and REEL scales a models to develop the Emirati early identification Autism scale. *Note: Why those two scales?? 2. The researches used the GARS and REEL scales as Autism screening tools that demonstrated good validity and reliability. 3. The researchers pulled out items that focuses on screening children between the age of 18 36 months to review ;Comprehensively. 4. The items evaluated in terms of their appropriateness and relevance to the Emirati society. 5. A small pilot administration of the test on children (18 36 months of age) who are normal performed by the researchers at Special Education Lab.
