Your CEO has asked you to collect some secondary data about the competitors who are selling the same product (s) or service(s). Choose at least one competitor and compare their secondary data with yours to identify the possible strengths and weaknesses for the new product(s) or service(s) that your chosen organisation is planning to introduce in the market. Your discussion should mainly be focused on the stages of collect the information, analyse the information and make the decision. In addition, you should also discuss the following ethical concerns, in term of these three stages of the marketing research process: Privacy of the respondents Any potential misinterpretations of the collected information. Provide brief information on your chosen organisation. You should also describe the relevant product(s) or service(s) that the organisation offers. Requirements The required word length for this report is 2000 words (plus or minus 10%). In terms of structure, presentation and style: o AIB standard report format o o AIB preferred Microsoft Word settings o o author-date style referencing (which includes in-text citations plus a reference list). These requirements are detailed in the AIB Style Guide. Reference lists for AIB written assessments normally contain relevant references from different sources. In terms of number of references, your assignment should have 6 12 credible academic references. All academic references must be from credible sources such as a textbook, reference book or journal article. Your grade will be adversely affected if your written assessment contains no/poor citations and/or reference list and if your written assessment word length is beyond the allowed tolerance level (see Assessment Policy available on AIB website).
