Criminology students will complete an essay, 1,500 to 2,000 words in length (excluding the cover sheet and reference page). and compare and contrasts two theories of crime or criminal activity discussed in the course. Essay will examine/compare, and contrasts two theories of crime and criminal activity discussed in the course, and presented to the class, a partial list is provided below. You may select whichever two theories you wish to examine/compare and contrast. It is also acceptable to compare or contrast theories from different disciplines. In other words, you may choose to compare a sociological theory with a psychological theory. Your essay must reflect the historical foundations of the study of criminal behavior; and examine ways in which society responds to criminal behavior in terms of prevention and punishment. The essay will be written in APA format and have at least four current scholarly sources (journals, research reports, studies, textbooks, etc.) The essay will contain a title page, an outline (table of contents), and a references page. PLEASE USE SCHOLARLY ARTICLES if possible can you write it on a google doc while you’re working on it share it so i can show the progress that has been made on it.
