This will include an analysis of the sides of the controversy via Publics and Counterpublics. Include an analysis of how digital technologies change/add new publics. This paper has two key parts First: using clear outside research, describe the controversy, this should include the major players, big issues, key sides, and historical context. It should also detail why the issue is significant to audiences. Second: Explain the theory of publics and counterpublics (outside the context of your controversy). Then define the major publics and counterpublics in your controversy. Identify how digital Technologies have altered the relationship between publics and counterpublics in the context of your controversy.
