Chapter 7 is on On-Site food service, while chapter 8 is a catch-all for issues in food service.
1. Have you ever, or do you regularly, eat at an on-site facility? Did/do you like the food?
2. Which “type” of on-site food service interests you the most?
3. Would you consider a career in on-site? WHY OR WHY NOT?
4. Please visit the website for your favorite chain restaurant. Look up the nutrition information for your favorite menu item, and tell me the number of calories, and grams of fat, sugar, and sodium.
5. Are you surprised at the nutritional content for your menu item?
6. Do you think restaurants should print the nutritional information on the menu?
7. Would it sway your decision as to which item to order?
