The subject area is Women and Gender Studies, not sociology. Choose one of the following options: 1. How are epistemology and research methods related? 2. Is this in line with a feminist framework, why or why not? In this assignment, you will find and analyze a peer reviewed essay that utilizes feminist research methods. Your first task will be to conduct a literature search using the library databases. Make sure you choose an essay for which you can answer one the following questions. You will use the essay you have chosen as the evidence in support of your answers to the questions. The course readings will provide source material for the framing of your answer. In other words, you will answer one of the questions below. In order to answer the question, you will analyze a research paper. The language and concepts you use to analyze the paper will be drawn from the course texts (Chapter 2 and 4 from the textbook “Feminist Research Practice by Hesse-Biber). ***WRITER MUST READ BOTH CHAPTERS BEFORE WRITING THE ESSAY- pdf of the textbook will be downloaded once the order is submitted. I will also provide an article, however, if the writer chooses not to use the article I provide, they must approve an alternative option with me. Your paper must make an argument. Put another way, your paper must have a thesis statement which you defend with the use of evidence. You must have a description of the research study you are analyzing built into the paper. You need not print the question you choose on the essay. Rather, it should be clear which question you have chosen from the formulation of your argument. Your paper must have an original title. The paper will consist of 2-3 pages of in-depth critical analysis. Do not simply summarize the arguments of the reading. Rather, utilize key quotes to compare and analyze the stakes of each piece. Be sure to contextualize the wider conversations in which the argument contributes. Assignment should be typed and double spaced, with standard 12-point, Times New Roman font, and 1-inch margins. Include in-text citations (Author Year, Page) and a bibliography using MLA.
