Assessment 2: Instructions and Marking Criteria Attached Files: Case study: Caroline a 12-year-old, accompanied by her parents, arrives at the local emergency department where you are on duty. Caroline has been absent from school for two days as she been generally unwell with a headache and vomiting, however her parents feel she has deteriorated rapidly over the previous few hours and they are very concerned. Caroline is clearly distressed and disorientated, she is unhappy at being disturbed by assessments and clings close to her mum. On initial examination Caroline is pyrexial, photophobic and has a raised rash evident on her facial area and torso. A provisional diagnosis is made by the presence of Kopliks spots in Carolines buccal cavity. The case study focuses on the condition: Measles (rubeola) Your assignment is in three parts: 1.
