Understanding all sides is key to understanding an issue. Therefore you will need to identify an important speech you disagree with. Identify the key components of the rhetorical situation and consider how their ideas might change in other media. This paper has three key parts 1) Selection of Artifact: describe the artifact you selected, and why it is a good representative anecdote for the larger controversy. 2) Apply the rhetorical situation. Define the four parts of the rhetorical situation, then apply them to the artifact. 3) Media considerations: using class concepts (particularly the tetrad) explain how the same message might be altered in at least two other types of media.
