The current reality – what is the current reality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities in the chosen area of practice? What are some current strengths and challenges for Indigenous peoples in this area? 2. How did we get here? What are the major historical factors that have contributed to the current reality? 3. Where are we heading? What are Indigenous leaders, academics, and community members saying about where we need to go in terms of policy and practice in the chosen practice area? What are their recommendations? 4. Relationship to course content – What connections can you make between the Indigenous led literature you have sourced for this assignment and the content we have covered across the trimester? EG. how do the recommended directions for the future in Indigenous led literature relate to frameworks for practice. What are the similarities and differences? Relationship to course content Conclusion References Research data or information should be from indigenousled sources such as NITV, National Indigenous Times and Indigenous led professional peak bodies such as SNAICC and QATSICPP or the First Peoples Congress of Australia. Anything published by such bodies is classed as Indigenous led for the purposes of this assignment look at the bio information of authors.
