Choose ONE to write an essay of 1000 words (900-1100 to be exact, excluding essay prompt and references).

Is it morally justifiable for governments to introduce rigid environmental policies to address climate change?
Essay Prompt 2
Is it ever morally excusable for a family member to decline to give financial assistance to a relative in emergency need even if they have the means to help them?
Essay Prompt 3
Is it morally justifiable for governments to impose corporal or psychological punishments as alternatives to imprisonment?
*All essay prompts can be answered by referring to the content of the first half of this course. Students should use at least ONE or the following moral theories in their essays:
– Utilitarianism
– Kantianism
– Confucianism
– Mohism
I will upload lecture notes regarding these theories later when I receive them.
There will be a tutor guiding me to do the essay so he will require me to write the essay bit by bit and feedback will be given for improvement. I will have to respond to the feedback and make changes every time. The final paper will have to hand in in November.

Writing a paragraph outline: 15 OCT (file attached)
Writing a body paragraph: 20 Oct
Draft essay: 5 NOV
Final essay + Response to feedback: 15 NOV (file attached for Response to feedback)
