Assignment Overview
Create a training presentation and script that helps managers see the connection between their leadership practices and organizational behavior. The presentation modules need to clearly demonstrate how a manager can successfully apply the organizational behavior principles presented in the course materials. Be sure to incorporate relevant examples of how individuals, groups, and structures can impact behavior within organizations and how applying knowledge of organizational behavior can improve an organization’s effectiveness.

Your boss has asked you to create a leadership training module to help managers learn the principles of organizational behavior. The following presentation requirements are:

Presentation Title:

Leadership Training-How Organizational Behavior Impacts Managers

Provide a contemporary definition of organizational behavior and explain how it connects to management functions. Select two major theories of organizational behavior that demonstrate how a manager’s skills impact the effectiveness of the employees. Be sure to highlight the similarities and differences between the approaches based on the theories you choose.
Identify how individual employees’attitudes, values, and personalities are connected to organizational behavior through a case study example. Create a short case study (1-2 slides) that highlights how two different employees in the same job or position in the organization can react very differently to the same event or situation. Use this case study to illustrate why it is valuable for managers to understand organizational behavior and how they can apply their understanding to help employees achieve company goals.

Step 3 Write or speak the presentation script.
