Personal Identity
Locke also has a very interesting theory of personal identity that is still influential today. Explain some basics of Lockes personal identity theory. What does it mean to say that one is the same person as the person twenty years ago? What is Lockes criteria on personal identity?
The issue of personal identity is fascinating in itself and has wide-range implications. Do you agree with Lockes criteria of personal identity, and why? Give your reasons as clearly and forcefully as you can.
