You will read and analyze the book Monkey Girl: Evolution, Education, Religion, and the Battle for Americas Soul by Edward Humes, and write a paper discussing your analysis. The paper is due on September 25, 2019. This assignment should be seven (7) pages in length. The paper must include: (1) a short overview of the book (three to four paragraphs) that provides an explanation of the significance of the main topic; (2) a description of the authors perspective; and (3) an in-depth analysis of the main topic. Your research for your discussion of this issue should take you beyond the book. Your reference list will need to include at least one source other than Monkey Girl. Note that course textbooks are generally not an acceptable source for research projects, so do not rely on our course textbook for your research.
Make your thesis clear and state it at the beginning of your paper. Set out your research in a clear business style using the active voice. Avoid long, vague paragraphs and irrelevant generalizations. Remember to analyze and discuss your findings. Do not jump to a conclusion without explanation.
