Interview an educator in the workplace regarding special education law, students with special needs, and Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Summarize the results of the interview. You may include additional sub-topics if you desire or if it will assist you with assignment. Use the following topics as starting points for your interview with an educator. Discuss students with disabilities in the following areas: 1. Historical perspectives in education 2. Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) 3.Rehabilitation Act and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) The prompt questions for interviewing a leader in your workplace should fill any holes of information that you do not already know (or perhaps confirm what you do know). You should create focused, but open-ended, interview questions around the four major topics to help you complete this assignment. Include both the questions and the direct quotes from the interview. Make connections from the interview to your readings and any other outside resources. Compose an essay to summarize the findings from your interview. Your essay should be 1500-1600 words and should include at least four (4) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
