Supporting your Employees Volunteering is Good Business

Supporting your employees volunteering Volunteering is good for a person. Studies show that volunteering improves individuals lives, making them both happier and literally healthier. Its also no secret that consumers are increasingly focused on supporting companies that support their communities. Businesses can support their community through many ways, including having their employees volunteer. Putting these two truths together, it would seem obvious that businesses should provide paid time off for their employees to volunteer in their community. However, this is rarely done. My white paper concept is to counsel my business/organization to add a pay to volunteer program within the company.
