What are some of the problems that the Mission experienced? Discuss Illnesses, food shortages, and deaths.

A Postcard can be used to briefly tell about a place. In simplest terms, a postcard has space on one side to write a message, and the other side shows a photo or drawing of that particular place. For this Enrichment Activity, you will design a postcard that highlights a Texas Mission (see list below). On one side, you will describe what your life at the Mission is like, and on the other side, you will include a picture of your Mission (Postcard TemplatePreview the document). You can use any of the readings in this module for this assignments as well as include information from your own research on your Mission. When thinking of the information that you would like to share with your family/friends, be sure to answer the following: Accurate details/information about Mission life. Who built the Mission and how were the buildings constructed? What are some of the problems that the Mission experienced? Discuss Illnesses, food shortages, and deaths. What was the overall goal/purpose of the mission and was it successful? How did the transition from official Mission status to ordinary Spanish society affect the people of the Mission? Things to Remember Dont forget to address your postcard to a family member or friend. Dont forget to use postage! To not disrupt the flow of the Postcard, include your sources as Bibliographic citations in Chicago Style based on the Orientation Module guidelines, on a separate page in your Word Document.
