Each student will be required to write an essay of 2500 words in length. A list of essay questions is attached to this notice. As a general guide, students should write an essay with a clear argument in response to the question. This argument should be supported by significant engagement with the academic literature on the topic (literature beyond course materials). The essay should engage with international relations theory, and students should acknowledge and engage with counter arguments and different perspectives to strengthen their conclusions.
