– Choose ONE of the two below listed topics and write a 1 page research paper describing in depth the topic and applicable case laws related to this topic. Feel free to discuss any opinions you may have on the topic, but this must be supported by research. Each paper should be about 1-2 pages, single-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-point font. Use at least 4 valid references in each paper. Please find a balance between academic references and trade references, though you will probably find more academic articles. Be sure to cite all sources of information in the papers and then put your bibliography/reference list at the end. Note- the bibliography is not included in the page count. Please feel free to use any citation style that you prefer. The important content in the citation should include author names, date, title, journal (if relevant) or the URL where you accessed the article. ? This will probably be an iterative process where you may discover that you need additional articles to fill in gaps in your knowledge while writing the paper. ? Select your topic(s) from the list for each paper. ? Research: find at least 4 recent, relevant articles that will help you learn about the selected topic(s). Read them to begin learning about these topics to gain knowledge in these areas. ? Based on your new knowledge, develop a logical outline of your paper; e.g. list the topics and sub-topics in a logical order. ? Insert relevant information from the articles into the appropriate places in the outline. ? Write your paper: use your new knowledge from reading and thinking about the articles to fill in the topics in the paper; e.g. write a story to explain what you have learned in a clear concise way. ?
