Select two key theories that support intervention for this population and review the text and/or relevant articles describing them.

Part One: Literature Review The first part is a 5 page literature review in which students must compare and contrast two theories for intervention that they use in their agency and with their agency client population. This paper will include the following sections: Introduction to the Problem/ Population: Describe the target problem or population your review will address Compare and Contrast Theories of Intervention: Select two key theories that support intervention for this population and review the text and/or relevant articles describing them. Description of Relevant Interventions: Describe key interventions for the population which stem from the theories you described (you may elaborate on these in your annotated bibliography) Implications for Social Work Practice: Describe the key ways the theories and interventions you describe influence social work practice with this population Conclusions: Summarize key findings and implications Part Two: Annotated Bibliography 2 pages Students will provide an annotated bibliography of 6 articles that provide evidence supporting interventions described in your literature review (up to 4 pages of the total paper). Review the different intelligences listed in the table below (Psychology, OpenStax).

Multiple Intelligences Theory was developed by Howard Gardner, a Harvard psychologist and former student of Erik Erikson. Gardner’s theory, which has been refined for more than 30 years, is a more recent development among theories of intelligence. In Gardner’s theory, each person possesses at least eight intelligences. Among these eight intelligences, a person typically excels in some and falters in others (Gardner, 1983). Review the different intelligences listed in the table below (Psychology, OpenStax).Multiple Intelligences.pngAfter looking over these different types of intelligences, share the following information:Which intelligence type(s) stands out as most prominent in your life?Share an example of how one of your specific intelligences has helped you in some aspect of your life.Does your intelligence type connect to your future career field? How?To gain a better understanding of where your strengths really are, take this assessment http://www.literacynet.org/mi/assessment/findyourstrengths.html (Links to an external site.). Health Care Model Comparison Response

Respond to the student post below. Use scholarly journal: There are many different aspects when thinking of the healthcare field. For example, health could be talking about an individual, community, or as a nation all together. When thinking of the traditional medical care, this is more individual and to the point. A patient goes to the clinician for a diagnosis, therefore being very focused on the issue which is being presented. While traditional medical care is patient centered, population health is very broad. Population health has many factors such as physical, cultural, and social environments which affects the outcomes they have for the health of populations (Caron, 2017). The differences in these health care models have many different effects on the comprehension of health. It is important to know the difference between these two, because they both are dealing with the welfare of people. Traditional health is focused on caring with the patient, whereas population health is focused on preventative healthcare which would decrease healthcare spending. Humans have known for a long time that there is a connection between health and the environment in which they are living in. The places in which people work and live have an enormous impact on their health, so by helping to bring change to the socioeconomic factors the level of health will improve (Institute of Medicine, 2003). As we just learned last week with the Health Impact Pyramid, socioeconomic factors have the most impact on improving health (Frieden, 2010). Social determinants need support from policy and models in order to be impactful on a population health level.

Write a paper (2,000-2,500 words) in which you apply the concepts of epidemiology and nursing research to a communicable disease. Refer to “Communicable Disease Chain,” “Chain of Infection,” and the CDC website for assistance when completing this assignment. Communicable Disease Selection Chickenpox Tuberculosis Influenza Mononucleosis Hepatitis B HIV Ebola Measles Polio Influenza Epidemiology Paper Requirements Describe the chosen communicable disease, including causes, symptoms, mode of transmission, complications, treatment, and the demographic of interest (mortality, morbidity, incidence, and prevalence). Is this a reportable disease? If so, provide details about reporting time, whom to report to, etc. Describe the social determinants of health and explain how those factors contribute to the development of this disease. Discuss the epidemiologic triangle as it relates to the communicable disease you have selected. Include the host factors, agent factors (presence or absence), and environmental factors. Are there any special considerations or notifications for the community, schools, or general population? Explain the role of the community health nurse (case finding, reporting, data collection, data analysis, and follow-up) and why demographic data are necessary to the health of the community. Identify at least one national agency or organization that addresses the communicable disease chosen and describe how the organizations contribute to resolving or reducing the impact of disease. Discuss a global implication of the disease. How is this addressed in other countries or cultures? Is this disease endemic to a particular area? Provide an example.
