Week 6 Subjectivity EssayFor this week, you are asked to write a 2-3 page paper describing your subjectivity and possible ways in which your subjectivity influences your research. As it has been described in the readings and will be discussed in this week’s group discussion, qualitative and quantitative research have different approaches to a researcher’s subjectivity. While quantitative research tries to suppress a researcher’s subjectivity and teaches them to stay objective, qualitative research encourages its researcher to engage with their subjectivities and be expressive about ways in which their research is influenced by their subjectivities. For this assignment, I want you to critically engage with your subjectivity and its impact on your research. Please make sure to include the following points in your paper.• Describe your identities/y, communities/y you think you belong to, and other attributes about yourself you consider important.
