Your integrated 10-year personal and professional strategic plan will be framed by a series of topic typically associated with strategic planning. In your critical thinking journal, you have thought deeply about your integrated purpose for being and your forward looking at where you want to be in ten years. In the work you have done in your journal on your mission and 10-year vision, what is underlying how you framed the questions you asked and how you developed responses the questions you asked? Greenberg (2013) suggested one’s moral values (deeply held beliefs) sets one’s world view on what is good versus bad and what is right versus wrong. He claimed one’s values and organizational codes of conduct are reflected in individual decision making in responses to environmental stimuli (e.g., work-life balance, technical problems, interpersonal exchanges, workspace, commute to-and-from work, organizational politics, and organizational justice) and outwardly reflected in one’s behaviors. In developing your integrated personal and professional strategic plan, you will need to explain your values, the foundation of your values, and the interrelationships between your values, your life’s mission, and your 10-year vision for your life. This will be a foundational element in your final paper.Use your critical thinking journal to (1) critically think about and analyze your values (2) in Step 5 of Paul and Elder’s (2012) critical thinking model, as adopted for the class, synthesize your thinking about the foundation of your values, and the interrelationships between your values, your life’s mission, and your 10-year vision for your life. Please see the example provided & make use of the template provided.
