Journal Report Re-submission You are required to write a report between 1000 and 1,200 words reflecting what you have learned during the module, and how you plan to apply this new-found knowledge. You should find that the journal entries you have written throughout the module act as great reminders of your learning and feelings from fortnightly intervals in the module. Read through these and use the content to help develop your Journal Report. However, it is important that you don’t simply copy and paste the entries into a report structure, instead you should summarise these and build upon them to produce the content of your overall reflection, creating a cohesive and organised report, written in the past tense. Make sure you have an Introduction, main body and conclusion in your report. In your report you should comment on how the learning from this module has resulted in changed behaviour / performance / perspectives, explaining in what areas i.e. study/work/home life. Please give specific examples. How has your learning helped you? Again, please be specific. Try to consider the above points for each set of units, or alternatively, select the learning points which you have found most valuable, and explain these in detail. In the conclusion you should present a summary of your report and any logical conclusions you have reached. Remember that referencing, citations and bibliography are key aspects of an academic assignment and good academic practice, so if you do choose to quote or refer to the work or ideas of someone else in your Journal Report you must acknowledge and reference it properly, as you would in any other assignment. However, please note that it isnt an express requirement to cite sources in a Journal Report. Rather your tutor is looking for your personal reflection upon the learning experience.
