For this task, you will submit a detailed description of a fictions crime and focus on the crime scene. Be sure to conduct research to understand crime scenes. For example, if you are planning to profile a serial killer, be sure you have researched crime scenes from serial killers to ensure you are including plausible information.

The information you describe in this assignment may also be used in your final presentation to the FBI (due in Week 8), when you present your profile. You will want to consider that your final project will build upon the information you are describing in your crime scene analysis paper this week. You must be able to make conclusions that are realistic. Include in your description the following information:

For Part 1, you will identify 3 policies on data security and provide 3 recommendations on improvements to them for the organization. For example, Data Access Policies, this is where you discuss where to get access and authorization to certain information. Part 2, provides a critique on the current system and share how they fare in regards to, electronic signatures, data corrections, and audit logs. For this, consider the HI Systems you researched in Unit 3 Discussion. Use that for a comparison to help you, build your arguments. For Part 3, Consider the human factor and talk about, areas of the interface that impact the needs of the customer and organization. For this part, think about what the customer needs both inside and outside the facility. (Hint: User friendliness and accessibility) For your term paper Part 4, Talk about the current systems architecture in regards to database design and warehousing. Here you consider your system for comparison from part 2. Share the challenges in regards to systems testing, interface, and data relationships. Consider how well the system works and where it needs to improve. Part 5, Think about where the company is going and whether you have to tools to get there. Discuss 3 goals in the organizations, one from operations planning, IM plans, and disaster recovery. For Part 6, Share 3 challenges from different phases of the SDLC and how these policies from part 1 effect the system as a whole. Here you will tie it all together, as to how these new policy improvements, help the system be more effective and more secure.

Journal Report Re-submission You are required to write a report between 1000 and 1,200 words reflecting what you have learned during the module, and how you plan to apply this new-found knowledge. You should find that the journal entries you have written throughout the module act as great reminders of your learning and feelings from fortnightly intervals in the module.
